Covanta MacArthur along with Covanta's three other Long Island facilities (Covanta Hempstead, Covanta Huntington and Covanta Babylon) also came together for a volunteer day at Cornell’s 140-acre 4H Camp in Riverhead, NY. More than 40 participants performed cabin repairs and cleaned the property, and also took part in team-building activities. Located on the majestic Long Island Sound, the property is home to a youth sleep away camp and learning center which facilitates programs for at-risk kids.
