Reworld™ HPOWER collaborated with the local non-profit organization Protectors of Paradise and City Councilman Augie Tulba to clean up two illegal dumping sites near Waipahu Elementary School. With contributions of mobile equipment and hauling services from local vendors, we gathered 20.4 tons of waste, which was transported to HPOWER for energy recovery. The students of Waipahu Elementary School use this area as a pathway to and from school. The City plans to rehabilitate the illegal dumping ground and transform it into a space for students and community events.
