Reworld™ employees took part in HPower's Annual Earth Day Cleanup at Waipahu Elementary School. With everyone's help, 21.25 tons of MSW from the area and 1.81 tons of recyclable material was collected.
"This walkway is frequently used by students and residents and was cleared of much of the MSW on Friday. While there is still a ways to go, our cleanup was the first step to revitalize the area. The City has plans to eventually turn the area into a farm/garden along the Waikele stream for the students, and host community events."
