The Winneconne Team hosted a brat fry, with proceeds donated to local Ronald McDonald House Charities in honor of Kendall, daughter of our colleague Derek Koenig, Client Services Specialist II.
About Kendall:
Kendall was born last April with serious medical complications, including a giant omphalocele—a rare condition where organs develop outside the body—and a hole in her heart, discovered at birth. She underwent open-heart surgery at four months old but still requires lifelong medication and will need another surgery as she grows.
In her first year, Kendall spent around 340 days at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. During this time, her parents were fortunate to stay at the Ronald McDonald House, where they received incredible support. Kendall’s journey is ongoing, but they are comforted knowing this wonderful organization will continue to be there for them. They choose to donate to them because they provide families with much-needed care and connection during difficult times.
Reworld™ is proud to support Kendall and her family by contributing to such a meaningful cause. The Ronald McDonald House Charity has made an incredible impact on their lives and it’s an honor for the Winneconne Team to give back. Through events like the brat fry, we hope to continue supporting families like the Koenigs during their most challenging times.
