Covanta Indianapolis employees were excited to volunteer at Growing Places Indy, a nonprofit organization that empowers people to cultivate individual, family, and community wellness through urban agriculture, access to fresh local food, and mind-body education.
The Covanta team worked in the greenhouse and gardens, completing tasks in one day that would have required three weeks of work from the organization’s small staff.
